Lennon's Natal Chart (wheel chart shown
here) PART ONE: THE INNER YOU In Part One of the interpretations you will read two sections concerned with your individual traits.
The first section describes your ego (sun), emotional make-up (moon), learning and intellectual orientation (Mercury), relationships and sociability (Venus), and the expression and focus of your physical energy (Mars).
The second section describes how well you deal internally with the external situations that you experience in life. Your capacity for happiness (Jupiter), ability to tolerate restrictions and frustrations (Saturn), how you are associated with or relate to new or innovative ideas and methods, and radical ideas and events that upset the status quo (Uranus), how you are associated with or affected by public ideals, morality, and spirituality (Neptune), and how you are associated with or affected by public policies toward crime, toward the power of government and industry, and toward exploration, development, conservation and distribution of natural resources (Pluto).
SUN The sun rules will power and ego. It is the core of your potential and uniqueness as an individual; who you are and what you are about. It represents the main direction and focus you want your life to take, and your determination to accomplish what you set out to do. It is your personal honesty and integrity, and the ability to command respect and authority, to impress and influence others.
SUN in LIBRA As the seventh sign of the zodiac, Libra represents the seventh stage in the evolution of man and his place in the universe. The first six signs represent man's attention turned inward to understand and develop his individuality and position in the cosmos. The rest of the signs represent his attention turned outward to humanity as a whole. Libra is not merely the sign of partnership, it is the sign of other people in general. Libra is the balance between the individual and society. To attain the understanding man seeks in Libra, there must be a compromise between the passion and the intellect. The physical world must come to terms with the nonphysical world. The objectivity of judgment needed for these tasks is characteristic of the Libran temperament. Un-evolved Librans can be cold and unemotional or unable to make decisions. But this is not true of mature Librans in whom such traits merely represent attempts to reach true objectivity.
Librans are doers. In spite of their need to be liked, and reluctance to face confrontations, they are surprisingly strong-willed. They set out to accomplish their goals and will find ways to succeed one way or another, usually by using their wit and charm. The "iron fist in a velvet glove" approach is one key to their success. When such ploys are ineffective however, they can become uncharacteristically aggressive and determined to solve the matter then and there. Their change of attitude in such situations is usually effective enough to catch others off guard and allow the Librans to gain control. If they become convinced nothing more is to be gained no matter what they do, they won't hesitate to walk away from a situation with no further explanation or thought of returning. The Scales are Libra's astrological symbol and Librans require balance in their lives. In relationships, they invariably give back in kind what they have been given.
Librans react to everything they experience in life with an intellectual orientation. Before they take physical action, before they assess the practical worth of something, and before they sort out their true emotions, they try to visualize it objectively as a kind of mental exercise. It would be a mistake to believe they lack passion. They can be outrageous flirts and true romantics. Their passion is not apt to be sustained however, if their interest in someone does not include intellectual rapport as well as physical attraction.
Venus, planet of beauty and social grace, rules Libra. They get emotional, physical, and psychological pleasure from beauty in all forms. Books, music, flowers, and perfume are typical delights. If their environment is not esthetically pleasing, they can become unhappy without even realizing that their surroundings may be at least partly responsible for their depression. For Librans, social grace begins with good manners, extends to high level diplomacy, and ends with abhorrence of disagreeable confrontations. When forced to endure a fractious environment, they lose ability to think or function efficiently. They promote peace and harmony, and will invariably opt to bypass hostile confrontations whenever some equally effective method can be employed. Though they need partnership and association with other people, they do not like crowds and attempt to avoid them whenever possible.
Librans can exert impressive physical energy but the stamina they need to do it tends to run in cycles. They work hard, play hard, and then collapse into inertia until nature restores the balance and their energy returns. Addicted to the luxuries and creature comforts of life, Librans have a lazy streak, especially when it comes to physical exercise. Few of them will walk if they can ride. Fondness for rich food (sugar is their biggest weakness) makes it necessary to get proper physical exercise. However, if they have not been thoroughly indoctrinated to the virtues of physical fitness from childhood, and in the meanwhile nothing or no one has come along to inspire them to stay in shape, they simply turn into marshmallows. Tennis, hiking, horseback riding, skating, and aerobics are a few activities with special appeal for Librans.
Libra colors are ivory, pink (or rose), turquoise, and blue. Vulnerable parts of the body are the kidneys, lumbar region of the back, and ovaries. Lower back pain, and the problems caused by too much sugar or rich food are common complaints. Libra's birthstone is the opal. This unique gem consists mostly of ordinary sand and water. Just as hidden water in opals cause the fire in the gem, there is more emotional content than is apparent behind the brilliant flashes of the Libran intellect. Libra rules flowers in general but particularly appropriate blooms for Libra include roses (white or pink), daisies, violets, asters, and orchids.
MOON The moon rules desire as opposed to ego, need as opposed to expediency or reason. It describes how you feel about yourself, how you handle relationships, and how you emotionally respond to situations and experiences. It describes the flow of your daily functions; physical, emotional, and mental. The moon represents your residence and domestic environment. It rules babies and young children, your mother and other important females in your life.
MOON in AQUARIUS Those born with the moon in an Air sign usually respond to situations in a way they think should fit the facts, that is, they act in a way they think others expect them to act, or they imitate the same behavior as others. This gives them the appearance of emotional coolness or non-involvement. Before turning a situation into a physical experience, and before considering the stability or practicality of the thing, or even how they may really feel about it, they tend to do and say what seems appropriate as if it were not really happening to them. In spite of what appears to be their analytical detachment, most of them are loving and loyal in relationships. As lunar Air sign personalities, those with moon in Aquarius can be very sympathetic without being sentimental. Rarely beset with moodiness themselves, they often fail to pay attention to it in others, giving the impression they don't care. Idealistic, optimistic and friendly, they are unbiased and liberal in their treatment of people in general. Highly social, they attract friends and acquaintances from all walks of life, social and cultural backgrounds. They have difficulty focusing attention on just one person. As far as they are concerned "the more the merrier". Despite whatever eccentricity shows up in their personality, they are emotionally stable. Something in their emotional make-up gives them remarkable ability to calm those who are mentally disturbed or hysterical. When disappointed or unhappy, they focus on their activities and chores with such aplomb that others may not even realize they are upset.
Aquarius moon personalities do not want to be rushed or forced into making an emotional commitment. Once they make a commitment to an idea, project or relationship, they are tenaciously loyal and dedicated. Strong individualism and an eccentric nature can make marriage difficult. Marriage or raising a family rarely changes their established way of thinking and doing things. Though remaining independent in opinions and attitudes, more often than not, their attitudes and opinions turn out to be pretty traditional.
Women with Aquarius moon are often better friends and companions to their children than traditional nurturing mothers. Their interest in business or social affairs can distract them from ordinary domestic life. They may experience sorrow and disappointment in female relationships. Men with Aquarius moon display little jealousy or possessiveness in romantic relationships, a tendency that is sometimes interpreted by their partners as lack of love. Pursuing ideals and mental endeavors are often more important to them than amassing material wealth.
MERCURY Mercury indicates mental outlook, intellectual endeavors, the way you think and communicate. It represents ideas, methods, and information. It rules your hands and thus your manual dexterity and mechanical skills. Mercury also describes transportation; that is, how you get where you're going physically and mentally. Do you speed with all possible haste or amble along taking a few detours here and there?
MERCURY in SCORPIO Individuals with natal Mercury in Scorpio have an extremely keen intellect. The intensity of Scorpio indicates obsessiveness. It can mean jealous protection of their ideas, and in some individuals, a tendency for great secrecy. They tend to equate knowledge and information with power. Once they form opinions, they stubbornly cling to them. Mental powers are not bogged down by sentiment. The emotional element that is present only sharpens their instincts, giving them the ability to read between the lines. It is difficult for others to deceive them. Analytical with a healthy dose of skepticism, they are excellent investigators. What they choose to learn, and where or how they choose to transport themselves is variable, but rarely is it without design or purpose. Whether they move quickly, or slowly with great care, they prefer their movements to be silent and undetected.
VENUS Venus rules your social attitudes and behavior, and your aesthetic tastes and inclinations. It is female relationships and social interactions at every level. Venus indicates your values. It describes romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humor, and the pursuit of pleasure.
VENUS in VIRGO Individuals with Venus in Virgo may be somewhat inhibited when it comes to establishing social relationships. They do however, quickly warm to people who go out of their way to make them feel at ease, those with similar interests, and those with whom they can find some means of personal identification. Even if they are very interested in pursuing a relationship (romantic or otherwise) they are not likely to be the aggressor. When they do go out of their way to form associations, it is usually for practical reasons. Close friendships may be few, but those they do make are treated with care and responsibility. They can miss good times, good friends, and sometimes even romance, because they wait too long for the conditions to be just perfect.
MARS Mars rules physical energy and efforts. It describes the strength and direction of the physical force that drives your ego, fires your emotions, and encourages your mental endeavors and communicative skills. It describes male relationships and associations, risk-taking inclinations, and the physical challenges you are likely to encounter.
MARS in LIBRA The energy of those with Mars in Libra is primarily directed toward ideas and communication. Their efforts can be strong and focused, but the motivational force behind their efforts often relies on interacting with other people. If they have limited opportunity to work in partnership or in cooperative arrangements with others, they find it difficult to get things accomplished or to develop their own potential. The Libran influence implies the possibility of special talent in law, art, design, and music. They are not particularly geared for wasting energy in combative gestures, and will more than likely go out of their way to avoid direct conflict. They are good strategists, able to accomplish things through diplomacy and charm instead of physical force.
JUPITER Jupiter rules your potential for growth and expansion on many levels; physical, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, and the accumulation of material assets, power, and status. It describes your optimism and aspirations. It represents your father and his position in society.
JUPITER in TAURUS Individuals with natal Jupiter in Taurus are usually concerned with the physical world, its pleasures and its traditional structures. Comfortable with wealth and status, they use their advantages not only for personal growth and progress, but also to improve the quality of life for others. They want the growth and expansion they experience to be real and tangible. In other words, they want to physically see their progress, to feel it or hold it.
SATURN Saturn rules responsibilities, restrictions and limitations you are apt to encounter, and the lessons you must learn in life. It does not deny or diminish imagination, inspiration, spirituality, and good fortune but it does demand that these things be given structure and meaning.
SATURN in TAURUS Individuals with natal Saturn in Taurus find it difficult to do something for nothing. They need tangible thanks and appreciation. They have to measure themselves; who they are, what they do, and what they have in relation to the rest of the world. One way or another life presents them with situations in which they regret that a more spiritual or philosophical approach was not or could not be used in measuring their own worth or the relative worth of others.
URANUS Uranus rules personal as well as societal freedom. It indicates originality of thought and expression. In society it rules radical ideas and people as well as revolutionary events that upset established structures. Uranus takes approximately seven years to transit one sign, taking about 84 years to complete all twelve signs. Since groups of people with Uranus in the same sign are separated by 84 years, the influence of this planet in a sign is generational. The personal implications of Uranus in your life are described by its house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart. It describes areas of unpredictability, and where you or your life style may be different than those around you. It relates to the unusual or unique. Friends and associations to which you belong are also indicated, as is your potential involvement with science and technology, computers, and the media.
URANUS in TAURUS The generation of individuals born with natal Uranus in Taurus do not care to make changes for the sake of making changes, nor do they accept originality just because it is different. For them, changes and innovations must have structure and purpose. Freedom is encouraged if responsibilities are also accepted. The importance of theories are recognized but only to the extent that their practical application is considered feasible.
NEPTUNE Neptune rules those who are oppressed or abandoned; the misfits of society. On a higher level it rules visionaries, and those who are glamorous and charismatic. It represents spirituality, mysticism, and ideals. Neptune is in one sign for approximately thirteen years, taking about 164 years to complete its cycle through all twelve signs. Since 164 years separate people born during its transit of one sign and those born when it returns, Neptune's significance in any sign is described as generational or historical. On a personal level, Neptune's house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart will describe spirituality, abstract thinking, illusion, disillusionment, and other areas of your life where things aren't always what they seem. It rules derangement, guilt, persecution, and describes the potential for experiences related to confinement, abandonment, and addiction or physical intolerance to drugs.
NEPTUNE in VIRGO Among other things Virgo rules the search for ideals, work and the labor force. During the most recent period of Neptune in Virgo in 1928-1943 idealism went tragically awry in Hitler's plan to eradicate all those he considered inferior. The National Labor Relations Board was established to reassert the right to collective bargaining.
PLUTO Pluto takes approximately 248 years to make one cycle through all twelve signs. The period Pluto spends in each sign can vary from twelve years to thirty two years due to the eccentricity of its orbit. Like atomic energy (a force ruled by Pluto), the presence and direction of Pluto's energy are never obvious until it is used. Pluto’s influence in any sign is interpreted as generational or historical. In your personal life, Pluto's significance is interpreted from its house position and the aspects it makes to other natal planets in your horoscope. Pluto rules intense energy, and describes the areas in which you consciously or subconsciously seek to exercise power or control. Pluto is also linked to your karmic responsibility, and in this respect, it describes the areas where you must gain the deepest level of understanding.
PLUTO in LEO Pluto's last period in Leo was 1938-1957. Leo rules the king or representative government. During Pluto's transit of Leo in the late 1600's and early 1700's, John Locke, philosopher of the English Revolution and American Revolution, wrote his famous essays stating that governments existed by virtue of voluntary agreements and their function was to protect the rights of individuals.
PART TWO: THE OUTER YOU In Part Two you will read about the twelve houses of the horoscope. The houses represent areas of life in which you operate on a daily basis. You will read descriptions of how you handle the circumstances you encounter in each of these areas, according to your nature, personality and other traits as they are outlined in Part One.
HOUSE 1 The first house and the sign that rules the first house, which is also known as the Ascendant or Rising sign, describes your outer personality and physical attributes. To some extent it also describes your health and the type of illnesses you may experience.
ARIES ASCENDANT An Aries Ascendant indicates individuals with success-oriented personalities. They like to be the ones in charge and want to make definite impressions everywhere they go. They are dedicated to satisfying personal ambitions and can sometimes pursue their own ends with selfish disregard for the feelings of others. It doesn't necessarily mean they are always selfish but in their haste and enthusiasm to reach some goal or accomplish some purpose, it is easy for them to forget that others may be involved, or that what they are doing may have an adverse effect on others. A strong need for accomplishment, combined with the characteristic Aries courage they possess, urges them to go after things others might think are too dangerous, too foolish, or too much work.
Aries implies energy and enthusiasm. Once motivated, they seldom hesitate to act. Their enthusiasm can get out of hand and they tend to overestimate their own abilities or the influence they have. For the most part they maintain an informal approach to life, with easy, open mannerisms and an attitude of "take me as I am". They confront situations openly and with force, but may not necessarily be openly aggressive and, in fact, many are quiet, hard-working individuals who sublimate their energy inconspicuously in one or a variety of low-key activities. Those afflicted with the restlessness often characterized by Aries, can find it difficult (though not impossible) to develop a lengthy concentration span, neatness, or a high degree of organization.
Aries is ruled by the fiery red planet Mars, and as a celestial reminder of this association, many of them have reddish hair, ruddy complexions, or a distinctive birthmark on their heads or faces. Working for themselves makes life easier for their sometimes headstrong personalities, but they don't mind being one of the rank and file as long as they don't find the work objectionable and are treated fairly by supervisors. Though they can be easy-going about many things, attempts to force authority on them are likely to provoke strong resistance. Though often rash, their passions are sincere.
They are apt to have mechanical abilities or cleverness in one form or another. High fevers, eye strain, skin rashes, overwork, migraine headaches, and insect bites are their most likely physical complaints.
JUPITER in 1st HOUSE Jupiter in the first house indicates those with a people-oriented personality, independence, and optimism that gives them a flair for exaggeration and dramatic gestures. They possess intellectual curiosity, and a quick wit. Whether or not they are serious scholars, they have respect for knowledge. They love good food and drink and as result have to battle the tendency to gain weight. Their generous proportions may be represented in spirit rather than girth. Negative factors in their personality or background can mean self-indulgence gets out of hand and they become pompous, grossly overweight, dependent on drugs or alcohol, or sarcastic and cynical. The positive side of Jupiter suggests talent for acting and impersonation. As a rule, they never miss an opportunity for travel, to have new experiences, or to embark on some new adventure. They are very open and honest, and their too candid remarks can be misinterpreted as rudeness. They are apt to resemble their father in looks and personality. He is the parent apt to have the greatest influence on them.
JUPITER conjunct SATURN Jupiter conjunct Saturn is a generational aspect that offers a little of everything in life to those born during its influence. However, as a generation and as individuals, they will rarely if ever get something for nothing. When something is gained, something else is lost in the bargain. Success is not denied, but they must work to get it, work to hold on to it, and nothing should be taken for granted. Prudence is their best policy though occasional extravagance is not only possible but enjoyed that much more.
SATURN in 1st HOUSE For those with Saturn in the first house, the biggest lessons in life involve self image. It doesn't matter what circumstances life presents the biggest challenge for these individuals is always themselves. Saturn indicates difficult circumstances surrounding birth and the early years of life. Whatever their childhood was like, these individuals are consciously or subconsciously disappointed by it and with themselves as well. Such inner negativity may result in their denying themselves any personal success or happiness, or they may completely abandon themselves to pleasure and other indulgences as a form of self-destruction. They feel they are unworthy, unattractive and undesirable, no matter what the mirror reflects or what others may tell them. At every turn they are confronted by their own fears and insecurities. How well they learn to deal with such personal conflict becomes a mark of their strength and success as an adult. Saturn in the first house may indicate inner turmoil but by no means does it indicate a somber or colorless personality. On the contrary, these individuals usually overcompensate by developing a cheerful demeanor. They are quite willing to accept hardship and responsibilities, which in most cases, they feel they were born to endure.
HOUSE 2 The second house describes material assets, how you handle monetary income, and the potential ways it may be earned. It also indicates the values and priorities you establish throughout life.
TAURUS on 2nd HOUSE Taurus ruling the second house indicates individuals who may be addicted to the personal pleasures and material advantages that wealth can supply. To attain these things, they take full advantage of all the charm and physical attractiveness they possess. To them, it may seem an even trade. It also implies that beauty provides their income in such fields as modeling, hairdressing and related services, cosmetic manufacturers and salesmen, fashion and beauty consulting. Other possible sources of income include law, art, music, jewelry or the world of fashion and design. Though their second house Taurus influence suggests they place great value on wealth and beauty, it indicates they probably also value their relationships. Their sense of well-being and security is greatly enhanced when they are surrounded with beautiful things, attractive, peaceful environments, and people they like. Negative potentials for Taurus on the second house include individuals who are unable to derive personal enjoyment from anything or anyone. Their self-denial can lead to miserliness, selfishness, or a waste of resources.
URANUS in 2nd HOUSE Uranus in the second house indicates those whose material assets are vulnerable to sudden change. This implies the improvement of monetary circumstances for those with little wealth, and the danger of loss for those with many assets. Their attitude toward spending can vary considerably from one time to the next. Unlikely to be dedicated to earning money for its own sake, they are more interested in the personal freedom that money can buy. Their income may be related to a fraternal organization, or earned through the help and influence of friends. Their livelihood may come from an unorthodox or unusual line of work, or through more mundane areas that involve computers, research and development, antiques, international finance, medicine, television, or social work. Other potentials for Uranus in the second house include those whose priorities and values are unorthodox or radical, and those whose established values and priorities are altered by an unexpected event or change in their life. Among the things these individuals value the most are freedom and friendship.
URANUS trine NEPTUNE Uranus trine Neptune is a generational aspect that only applies to those born in the mid-1940's. It is a fortunate aspect for the arts, idealism, spirituality, and especially the advancement of minority classes. The emergence of this generation as adults in the 60's and 70's was indeed attended by such movements and activities as civil rights, antiwar demonstrations, women's lib, and gay rights.
HOUSE 3 The third house describes your mental state, intellectual orientation, self-expression and communication, early education, mechanical dexterity and skills, immediate environment (neighborhood), and siblings. It indicates physical actions, and transportation, especially within your immediate environment. To a certain extent the third house also describes the job or health of your father.
GEMINI on 3rd HOUSE Gemini ruling the third house indicates individuals who are concerned with communication, languages, or transportation. Responding to the Gemini influence many of them are writers, teachers, publishers, salespersons, or those heavily involved in community projects and associations, or who work in the transportation or travel business. Other mental occupations, such as design and engineering are also indicated as possibilities. There is apt to be a lot of visiting and communication with siblings. The negative possibilities include speech impediments, hearing loss, or learning disabilities. It also implies accident proneness, tendency to experience mechanical difficulties, or lack of facility with mechanical devices. They always know what's going on, especially in their immediate environments. In some individuals with nothing better to occupy their time, there is more involvement in idle gossip than in genuine community business. The influence of Gemini on the third house means they are likely to possess a high degree of instinctual understanding. Not ESP exactly but what may seem like ESP.
HOUSE 4 The fourth house describes your residence, domestic environment, and family members, especially your mother. It indicates the beginning as well as the end of various cycles in your life.
CANCER on 4th HOUSE Cancer ruling the fourth house indicates powerful ties to home and family. If these individuals are deprived of these elements in childhood, they find some way of fantasizing them. Sometimes their desire to idealize their family causes them to fantasize even when they experienced, what could be considered by most standards, a normal childhood. Though this Cancerian position indicates strong emotional identification with home and family, it does not mean the home life is emotionally stable. In fact, frequent changes of residence are more than a possibility. They may reside near or on the water, or at least may have great desire to do so. They usually prefer to work at home. Their mothers are apt to play pivotal roles in their lives. Either they gain strength or special assistance from her, or are profoundly affected by her death or absence. Loss of the mother however, is not necessarily a negative factor, but may turn out to be a positive force in pushing them forward. They may have responsibility for the care of their mothers or bear great physical resemblance to her.
PLUTO in 4th HOUSE Pluto in the fourth house indicates those who may experience trauma in childhood, most likely as the result of the death of someone in the family, or because of their physical or mental abuse by a family member. Whatever may have actually happened, or how they may have felt about it, childhood experiences ultimately leave them with a sense that they have no control over things. They have difficulty as adults in relinquishing any control over themselves or their home. Some of them may never seek to own a home of their own. They may be reluctant to marry, or find it difficult to stay married to a spouse who insists on dominating their domestic environment. Pluto in the fourth house also implies individuals who may not experience the full potential of their power and energy until later in life. There are definite periods (especially after the age of thirty) when they may have to start over again in some new enterprise or life style. Though they may or may not attempt to escape their childhood home or its circumstances, they find themselves returning to it again and again. By choice or circumstance there may be secrecy connected to aspects of their home or family background.
HOUSE 5 The fifth house describes your creative talent and imaginative powers, capacity for enjoyment and the pursuit of pleasure, romance, children, and speculative ventures.
LEO on 5th HOUSE Leo ruling the fifth house indicates those with significant creative and procreative urges. While this does not necessarily translate into unbridled hedonism, they can be very devoted to the pleasure principles though the goals are not always focused on sexual needs. Pleasures include food and drink as well as other comforts and physical delights. The negative potential of this can mean individuals whose ability to enjoy personal pleasures is repressed. Leo’s influence indicates romantic and humanitarian individuals; vital if not always strong, and noble if not always wise. They are loyal and honest but pride is often their biggest downfall. They are invariably drawn to the grandeur of nature and very fond of animals. They are likely to seek careers in art, design, architecture, theater, promotion or public relations, and there is potential their children may also follow such paths. They love to entertain and be entertained. Even those with fairly quiet natures, have warmth and ready wits.
VENUS in 5th HOUSE Venus in the fifth house indicates individuals with the ability to raise socializing and the pursuit of pleasure to an art form. Theirs is such a merry, generous nature that others don't notice or become offended if they happen to overindulge themselves. They can be such thoughtful and excellent lovers that their amorous conquests don’t seem to mind being in a long line of other romantic partners. They enjoy expensive clothes and other luxury items. The potential for artistic or other creative talents leads quite a few of them to a career in stage and costume design, music, writing, or illustration. They are apt to have special rapport with children, understanding what sort of activities amuse and entertain them. The negative potential of this Venus house position includes the possibility of encountering problems with children and romance, bad luck in speculative ventures, and lack of ability to derive enjoyment from anything.
HOUSE 6 The sixth house describes your job, daily responsibilities (paid and unpaid), and those who work for or with you. It also represents your health, and physical fitness.
VIRGO on 6th HOUSE Virgo ruling the sixth house indicates individuals who are apt to be service-oriented. They tend to keep themselves extremely busy whether they work at jobs or in their homes. They seek to improve the quality of their working environment or the efficiency of the tasks that must be performed. Their dedication to getting the job done makes them valuable employees. However, they can sometimes be too preoccupied with unnecessary details or needless tasks they are convinced need doing. They can also develop the opinion they are the only ones capable of certain tasks and wind up exhausted, overworked and frustrated simply because they will not delegate work to others. The influence of Virgo suggests individuals who become librarians, researchers, teachers, trainers, physical fitness experts, or work in communication or with computers. They may work in sales- employment- social- or health-related agencies. They may work or have great interest in geography, geology, weather, stamp collecting, and travel. Whatever their jobs, they will tend to generate a lot of paperwork, reports, memos and lists.
SUN in 6th HOUSE Sun in the sixth house indicates those whose personal identification is tied to their work, as well as to co-workers or other people for whom they are responsible. They handle even the most routine tasks with dedication and pride, inspiring the admiration of others who are less organized or motivated. Those who can't (or don't) take pride in their work end up discouraged and bitter. Some of them exaggerate the importance of what they do, while others fail to accept any work they think is beneath them. Whatever their work may be, they will demand tangible payment and recognition of their efforts. Health and physical fitness are, or should be, important to them.
MARS in 6th HOUSE Mars in the sixth house indicates those who concentrate much energy and vitality in their work. It indicates mechanical skills, and many of these individuals are inventors, surgeons, tailors, machinists, engineers, builders, and inveterate tinkerers. Those with managerial skills are tireless administrators who know how to extract maximum efficiency from their staffs. There is potential for them to choose a line of work that involves an element of risk. The risk could be physical, economic, or, in the case of those who work with very ill or disturbed people, it could be emotional. Their work may involve manufacture or sale of knives, weapons, explosives, or fire-fighting equipment. Whatever their job, they are happiest in active environments that offer a wide variety of challenges and tasks. The influence of Mars also suggests enthusiasm for maintaining health and physical fitness. If other factors contribute to giving them a high level of energy, they have no trouble engaging in a variety of activities that keep them in shape. They must guard against high blood pressure, fever, headaches, and stress.
MARS sextile PLUTO Mars sextile Pluto indicates those who receive opportunities to advance through inheritance or handling personal assets of others. Some other areas that hold the promise of opportunity for these individuals are metaphysics, psychology, taxes, insurance, renovations, raw materials or minerals, holistic medicine, and physical fitness. Their opportunities usually involve gaining some sort of control in either a physical or financial sense.
NEPTUNE in 6th HOUSE Neptune in the sixth house indicates individuals who work in an isolated environment, or those whose job is related to secrecy, deception, or fraud. They may become involved with co-workers in secret activities. There is potential for them to develop idealistic or unrealistic notions concerning their job. Other people may not be quite sure what these individuals do for a living; but then, they may not be so sure themselves since there is also potential for confusion related to job assignments, and failure to get recognition for the work they do. Neptune’s influence suggests that they are apt to find employment in the navy or maritime industries, religion, photography, chemistry, psychology, medicine (especially homeopathy or cosmetic surgery). Their job may be in areas that specifically involve the feet, which could mean anything from selling shoes to being a dancer or a podiatrist. They may also work with the handicapped, minorities, and people in prison or confined for other reasons. Neptune's influence extends to their health and physical fitness. The self-discipline of exercise and other methods needed to stay in shape is very difficult for them to develop. Though it is possible to become fanatic about physical fitness, their approach is more likely to be metaphysical than physical. They are vulnerable to hypochondria or illnesses that are difficult to diagnose or treat. Caution must always be taken with drugs since they are apt to be sensitive to medicine as well as anesthetics.
HOUSE 7 The seventh house relates to marriage and partnership or joint ventures of any kind. It describes how you interact with people and how others tend to regard you. The seventh house is associated with legal matters, negotiations, contracts, and all open confrontations, pleasant as well as adversarial.
LIBRA on 7th HOUSE Libra ruling the seventh house indicates those who are apt to be outgoing, people-oriented individuals. They dislike doing things alone. Without constant exposure to others, they can become withdrawn and unmotivated because they depend on interactions for inspiration and feedback. They may have exceptional skills of strategy and debate, and are apt to encounter more than their share of open confrontations in life. They derive much pleasure and enjoyment from marriage, though they may have trouble in this respect until they learn not to equate romance and charming manners with emotional commitment. The negative potential of this Libra influence can mean difficulty finding the right partners, or antisocial attitudes either on their part or that they engender in others. They are apt to have courtly public manners and are unfailingly polite to everyone they meet. But, for all their sociability on a one-to-one basis, they hate waiting in line and being in crowds. They, as well as their marriage partners, may be lawyers, contract negotiators, agents or counselors.
MERCURY in 7th HOUSE Ideas and intellectual stimulation derived through communication and interaction with others is vital to those with Mercury in the seventh house. It also indicates more than one marriage partner, and in some societies it may happen at the same time.
